Summary of Position
This position is accountable for insuring the proper maintenance of data files on all production lots and ascertaining conformance of testing results to sample specifications prior to the release for shipment. The Lead Coordinator will also track the scheduling and testing of all validation level testing and provide the QA Liaison with the completed PSW/PPAP data packs. The Lead Coordinator will have the responsibility for the maintenance of the electronic lot status tracking database and the completion of production lot backlog reports.
Key Responsibilities

Comply with all environmental & health and safety federal, state, and local regulations along with company policies

Assemble folders for all lots prior to shipment and insure that all required specifications are met.

Direct processing and maintenance of all lot records

Ensure good communication between production and quality control in order to achieve an efficient collection of data records and to enable a quick response to any discrepancies in test results that might delay shipments or jeopardize samples

Revise testing requirements and/or forms whenever specifications change

Prepare certificates of analysis for manual and electronic data transfer

Coordinate testing/auditing priorities with quality control

Prepare all customers files for inventory storage

Track the scheduling and test status of all validation lots and provide the completed folders to the QA Liaison for completion of PPAP/PSW data packs.

Prepare weekly backlog reports

Requirements

Associates degree in clerical field
-
1-2 years Quality Assurance experience (within a manufacturing environment preferred)

Self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

High level knowledge of PC and software including MS Office
-
Familiarity with the automotive technical standard TS16949 a plus
