Utilization/Care Manager - Quest Behavioral Health

Owned by a consortium of Central Pennsylvania Healthcare Systems including WellSpan Health, Lancaster General Hospital, the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Pinnacle Health Systems, Summit Health Systems, and the Ephrata Hospital, Quest Behavioral Health is a full service administrator of mental health and substance abuse benefits.  Covering 33 counties in Central Pennsylvania and 9 counties in Maryland, Quest administers behavioral health benefits and EAP services offered by employers, providing services to greater than 110,000 members.

Quest is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Utilization/Care Manager position to provide telephonic assessment, triage, and referrals within the Quest Network of Providers.   This includes performing a variety of reviews and applying utilization and case management techniques to determine the most efficient use of resources to support the provision of appropriate, cost effective and quality treatment.

Scheduling Information

This position requires a bi-weekly on-call rotation for after hours/weekend coverage.

Required Skills

• Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work with a current and active license from the Pennsylvania Board of Examiners or a R.N. with psychiatric experience and active PA license - out of state license accepted if granted reciprocity for PA.

Required Experience

• 5 years post graduate experience as a provider of behavioral health treatment services.
• Previous quality assessment and utilization management experience preferred.
