Description Reporting to the Performance Manager, the Performance Analyst will lead projects in lean manufacturing and process improvement by educating, coaching, and facilitating others on lean manufacturing and process improvement philosophy, tools, and application.
Requirements

·        Perform “current state analysis" of major operation(s) assigned.  Assess operating methods, procedures, and processes.

 

·        Hold teammates accountable for the good deliverance and sustainability of gains.  Make sure the appropriate performance indicators are in place and that teams have been provided with objectives.  Examples are lead time reduction, uptime, throughput, equivalent tons, claims, and indications.

 

·        Providing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement training as needed in the organization.

 

·        Develop and execute a plan to improve the safety, efficiency, costs, and quality of a major operation within the organization.

 

·        Set up adequate tools for assessment and optimization of results against the objectives.  Assist units in identifying and developing key success factors and appropriate performance metrics.  Determine financial impacts and savings opportunities.

 

·        Building and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with the Company’s parent organization and its North American counterparts.

 

·        Establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships that foster staying current with general industrial continuous improvement, tools, training, successes, etc.

 

Undergraduate degree in engineering is preferred.  An advanced degree is also highly desirable.
