Description We are looking for strong, successful microsopy sales professionals that are looking to be part of a growing region and dealer selling Leica Instruments. These positions are for employment with a Leica authorized dealer.

Sales of Leica industrial microscopes, educational microscopes, imaging systems, related accessories and integrated solutions in most of geographies listed above. The focus is on established major accounts as well as smaller companies with industrial applications in aerospace, semiconductors, microelectronics, materials research, mining and energy, MEMS, QA/QC, R&D, medical device manufacturing, assembly, testing, measurement, and manufacturing in general (excludes biomedical and research life science customers).

Key requirements are to generate profitable sales revenue, grow territory sales, cultivate new accounts, prepare proposals conduct product demonstrations & installations, advance and maintain current knowledge of new products and applications, produce weekly call plans and site visit reports, generate monthly sales forecasts, prepare annual territory plans, maintain a detailed customer database, and organize and participate in local and national trade shows and seminars.

Occasional travel to and participation in regional and national trade shows, training sessions, and product launches is to be expected.

Requirements
  • Industrial equipment ,capital equipment sales experience with a proven track record of growth and exceeding sales quotas; formal professional sales training (consultative selling style)
  • Knowledge of the local customer base with established contacts: end users, management/decision makers and commercial (buyers, purchasing agents)
  • Experience with microscopes, optical measuring systems, industrial sample preparation and handling, or other applicable skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field or a technical discipline and/or significant applications experience in the industrial marketplaces noted above
  • Strong organizational skills, along with a track record of responsive, timely and effective territory management.
  • Strong competitive drive – must want to win, grow and excel
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; strong presentation skills needed
  • Ethical and honest approach to business success

Must be goal oriented and focused on achieving challenging sales growth targets
