Description
Gilchrist Construction Company, a leader in heavy highway construction in the central Louisiana area, is actively seeking a Civil Engineer.
The Civil Engineer provides high-level technical engineering support to ensure the successful completion of company construction projects/programs. Works as a member of the Construction Division, providing support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all company projects.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience required. 5+ years of experience in a heavy highway environment and a demonstrated interest in construction quality management. Louisiana DOTD specification knowledge a plus. Professional Registration and ability to have a LA licensure is required.
