Nanny / Housekeeper Live In or Out (Larchmont, NY)

Private family seeks a Nanny / Housekeeper Live In or Out to assist with the daily cleaning, care, laundry, and management of their Larchmont residence. This is a full time live in position with a five day consecutive work week. This position is 75% Nanny work; 25% Housekeeper work. Salary is generous and DOE; this position includes a full benefits package and potential to earn discretionary annual bonus. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and education of three children
• Tidying up after the children
• Laundry and general cleaning of the household
• Coordinating daily activities for the children
• Taking the children to and from lessons/appointments
• Creating a fun, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); strong command of the English language
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience working with private families
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Knowledge of general first aid and certification in CPR (infant, child, and adult)
• Must be OK with pets (no allergies)
• Must be comfortable supervising multiple children
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Legally able to work in the United States
