Telephony Field Technician/System Engineer

We are seeking a Telecom Field Technician / System Engineer to provide excellent customer service and field support to clients by performing routine technical tasks of basic to moderate-complexity as related to maintenance, installation, upgrades and changes for telecommunications and data network/systems. 

•  A High school diploma or GED  
•  A+, NET+, CTP and CCNA designations.
• Inter-Tel /Mitel telecom certifications or the ability to undergo training and obtain such telecom certifications.
• A foundation and fundamental understanding in as well as skills with devices, systems components, networks, and protocols.
• The ability to install, troubleshoot, configure and manage computers and basic networks.
• The ability to proficiently maintain and troubleshoot a variety of network operating systems.
• Three to five years experience performing technician level telecommunications field installations.  Experience should include installation, testing, troubleshooting and repairing twisted pair cabling systems.
•  A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Mitel’s minimum insurance standards.
• A strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Additionally, candidates should possess a working knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and the National Electric Code.
• The ability to work after normal business hours, weekends and nights as needed is required.
