Description Contract opportunity with a large Financial client for a UI .Net Developer

Requires Face 2 Face interview (Prefer local candidates)

This position will be responsible for developing the web application and will mainly focus on the presentation-layer (User Interface) with following additional responsibilities:

* Build a cross browser Web 2.0 / Ajax based user interface with a highly creative approach to Web Design
* Contribute to libraries of presentation-layer components that can be reused
* Creatively figure out how innovative design ideas can be implemented and tested
* Provide or seek out expertise in presentation-layer practices and trends
* Identify and address accessibility issues
* Work in close collaboration with the PMO, User Experience designers, Technology teams and provide all groups with a clear, accurate, evolving User Interface Design/Prototype.
The Web Application Developer should be a seasoned front-end developer with 4+ Years of experience in designing and developing web applications.

Requirements Experience with following technologies is required:
o AJAX Toolkits (Ex: jQuery, ASP.NET AJAX, YUI, etc.)
o Javascript /DHTML (DOM programming)
o DOM
o CSS
o HTML/XHTML
o Web UI Development Tools, Graphical applications

Experience with following is a big plus:
MS ASP.NET (vb.net or C#)
Microsoft Sharepoint

* Keeps abreast of technical trends, develops and incorporates them within assignments as appropriate.
* Expert knowledge of cross-browser design/development and optimization techniques.
* Experience creating and documenting Web UI coding standards/guidelines and design patterns is preferred.
* Familiarity with Web accessibility
* Self-motivated, and also a team player.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
