Bachelors in Engineering, with 7+ years experience , or a Masters Degree with 5 + years of experience in the field of high performance marine vehicles. Desired Skill Set Includes
Experience with one or more 3-D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, or NX5
Structural component design and stress analysis
Knowledge of materials and/or requirements for advanced marine craft and machinery. Including but not limited to: HVAC, hydraulic components, fluid systems design, air propellers, fixed and controllable pitch water propellers and waterjets, along with ability to size fans for lift systems, etc.
The ability to communicate effectively and directly with representatives of other departments and vendors to attain mutually satisfactory engineering solutions.
Travel within the Continental U.S. may be required.
