Senior Database Developer (SQL/Accounting)

Requirements include:

• Must have SQL experience writing SQL stored procedures
• Must have professional experience working in/with the Accounting department 
• Great Plains experience is a plus

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Software Engineer, this position is responsible for designing and developing Schemas/Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, and queries against our various MS SQL Server databases.

Essential Functions:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, database solutions
• Work with and develop on the data warehouse for Great Plains and Accounting systems
• Create SSIS packages and ETL packages for data migration and streamline conversion
• Implement new business requirements and software changes as needed
• Assist with technical integration and test activities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Schema design, and SQL Server 2005
• Solid experience with Great Plains is a desired
• ETL experience with SSIS or DTS is required
• Experienced implementation of SQL architecture and design principals
• Strong understanding of transaction isolation levels
• Strong Knowledge of SQL server replication
• Excellent understanding of the Microsoft SQL 2005 architecture.
• DBA level skills required (T-SQL, stored procedures/triggers, tuning)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
