Description Northeast Bank, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a great opportunity for a hard working individual looking for a challenging position. This position is responsible for providing support and direction regarding credit underwriting to ensure the overall quality of the organization's lending portfolio. It will develop and adhere to all credit policies and practices as well as applicable regulatory requirements. This includes: developing and recommending credit risk policies and procedures, identifying credit risk situations, providing guidance to lenders, and reviewing credit relationships to determine adequacy of underwriting. Position will manage all aspects of the credit department.

Requirements Qualified candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in a broad range of commercial credit underwriting and risk management experience. A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lending and loan servicing is required. Extensive knowledge of credit practices, risk management, and collateral requirements as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong people management experience is necessary.
