Food Production Manager

Our client is a major distributor of ingredients and supplies.  They are looking for a Production Manager for their MN location. 

This individual will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the overall aspects of the Production process in all shifts in the assigned area, in a Food Production Environment

• Create the daily schedule for production employees

• Review all applicable paperwork for all the Production Lines.

• Review and sign all Production Samples.

• Review and sign all the QA and safety issues reports.

• Maintain a high-level of commitment to safety by complying with safety policies and procedures

In order to qualify for this position the individual must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or minimum of 5 years experience in a related field of employment
• MUST have Food Production/Science industry experience
• Previous direct-management experience with superior leadership skills
• Plant Transformation/ Plant Expansions/ Plant Startups and continuous improvement experience
• P&L experience
• Safety and Risk Management
• Knowledge in FDA, HACCP, AIB, USDA, GMP’s, Allergen Programs – REQUIREMENT
