My client is an established leader in the test components / custom fixture manufacturing industry. They are seeking to add a talented, motivated Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer to their team.

The Sales Engineer / Territory Manager position is expected to grow company market share and customer base in key market segments while achieving profit sales targets.
  • You will be accountable for customers viewing us as a partner in providing professional sales representation and excellent customer service.
  • Must possess the business savvy to influence and gain alignment with both external and internal key decision makers, as well as all levels of the organization.
  • Support customers with test engineering needs: demonstrate, sell and implement custom test equipment such as test assemblies, fixtures and automated test systems (custom hardware and software solutions).
  • Provide marketing studies of activity in the ATE, test fixture and engineering services industry throughout the region.
  • Help customers select the appropriate products for various applications. Train customers on the proper safe and effective use of equipment and product.
  • Help customers establish performance standards and test methods.
  • Provide management reports and forecast of any/all sales and competitive activity in the territory.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have a 3-10 year proven track record in technical sales preferably from within the electronics or test engineering industry. A B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Software or Mechanical Engineering is desirable, but not required. A proven technical background/knowledge of custom electro-mechanical systems is required. We are looking for individuals who can sell value, execute a disciplined sales process, and deliver the close on profitable business.
