Description
Our Client a global defense and information technology company is currently seeking a Electronic Assembly Technician- (Soldering) for its Lanham, MD location.
Successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of quality PCBs to specific standards; assembly of cables and Harnesses to standards; maintaining records and logs of fabricated assemblies; tracking and maintaining materials necessary for production of PCBs and cables, and working from Schematics, Drawings and written and verbal instructions to internal processes.
Position qualifications include a HS Diploma with a minimum of 3+ years dedicated in electronics industry with experience as a tech/Assembler and be certified to work to specifications.
Candidates must have fine pitch experience. Excellent knowledge of soldering/desoldering, degreasing, potting materials, hand tools such as wire strippers, torque wrenches and other tools is required. Must be US Citizen. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is desired.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: High school education or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience. Experience in the assembly and hand soldering of printed circuit boards, cable assemblies and chassis/harness wiring. Prefer DOD or J Standard certifications.

256 pin quad flat pack soldering machine a plus.
