Design, develop, unit test, and integrate embedded and application software to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of client routers. Experience in software design, development, and debugging for real time embedded systems, and custom voice over Internet Protocol (IP). Experience should include Ethernet interfaces. Solid understanding of IP is needed. Hands-on development experience with 3COM's Enterprise OS environment is highly desirable. Previous test and integration experience is desirable. Experience with C in UNIX environment and GNU debugging tools is required. Bachelors and/or masters in CS or EE required.
Experience Level - 7 - 10 Years Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
