Description Senior Telecommunications Manager
Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Senior Telecommunications Manager for their Corporate Office in Waukegan, Illinois (south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Spring, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Manages the day-to-day operations of the telecommunications area

Work with the Business (Customer Service) & Enterprise Architecture in developing a Telecom strategy, vision & goals

Researches, designs & implements new telecommunication services

Facilitates planning for new, existing or relocation of Uline offices

Provides ongoing maintenance & support of existing telecommunication services

Collaborates & openly discussing issues in a way that brings out the best thinking, attitude & performance in the Telecom Team & others

Implements, maintains & negotiates telecommunication services with local & long distance providers

Negotiates contracts & coordinates provisioning of voice/data circuits & ensures smooth connectivity for Telephony systems

Excellent organizational, project management & problem solving skills

15 + years experience in telecommunications, 10 + years management experience in Information Technology

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Telecommunications Management or related field, MBA a plus
