Description

Cost Accountant (Lincoln)

Large manufacturing Company in the Lincoln area has an opportunity for a Cost Accountant

Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for production cost analysis, issue resolution and reporting
• Process inventory adjustments and transfers
• Participate in physical inventory observation, including input of tags, and reporting results
• Review and support processing of raw materials, freight, customs invoices for accuracy
• Monitor inland freight deliveries to ensure that raw materials are removed from storage on a timely basis
• Update Fixed Asset system and maintain related records, including depreciation
• Maintain solid relationships with operations and sales personnel
• Complete other tasks and special projects as assigned

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years general accounting experience; prefer 1+ year cost accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and well-organized
• Mid-tier or large ERP software experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Navision)
• Intermediate MS Excel/Word skills required
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Committed team player, with a customer service attitude
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Spanish-speaking a plus
