MedVantx Sales Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Answer incoming call inquiries from potential customers.  Educate and persuade consumers to utilize our pharmacy mail order benefit for their maintenance medications. MedVantx Sales Associates will handle both inbound and outbound consumer calls.   Assist consumers in converting prescriptions to MedVantx mail order pharmacy, as well as handle related customer inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.      Place and receive calls from consumers to provide information and education on mail order pharmacy benefits available through MedVantx Pharmacy Services.  Respond accurately, promptly and courteously to consumer questions and inquiries.

2.      Persuade and assist consumers in the benefit of conversion of their prescription fulfillment to MedVantx Pharmacy Services.

3.      Promote one-stop service to consumers by assisting them with routine questions concerning their mail order home delivery opportunity.

4.      Handle incoming calls from consumer and place refill orders, assist with general co-pay inquiries, and order status inquiries.

5.      Promote “one-stop" service mentality in dealing with all consumers contacted.

STANDARDS:

1.      Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with both internal and external customers.  Follow all state and Federal laws surrounding patient confidentiality.

2.      Promotes goodwill and encourages good business practices.

3.      Demonstrates good decision making skills and problem solving techniques.

4.      Will be measured on results.  What percentage of callers were you able to persuade into moving their prescriptions to MedVantx mail order pharmacy home delivery?  How many in bound calls did you take?  How many out bound calls did you made?  What percentages were successful?
