Chemical Labortory Techinican

Focus is on performing assays in support of a 24/7 production facility, troubleshoot and repair of laboratory equipment and the development and application of sophisticated instrumental methods utilizing HPLC, GC and wet chemistry analyses.

•  Minimum 5 years direct experience
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in a manufacturing setting, including laboratories, operations, technical services, or engineering.
• Knowledge of and experience with GLPs
• Knowledge of an experience with HPLC, GC, Microbiological Assays, and wet chemistry.
• Knowledge of and experience with laboratory information management t systems (LIMS)
• Experience with establishing plans and driving execution
• Effective communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed, requiring minimal supervision

Education requirements: BS, MS, in field of chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or engineering.

• Technical support in the QC Laboratory,
• Implement and validate analytical methods 
• Coordinate QC functions.
• Routine analytical testing of samples for in-process, finished product, raw materials and waste water
• Logging and tracking of samples
• Instrumentation or equipment set up, troubleshooting and maintenance calibration
• Writing and updating SOPs, reviewing and creating analytical reports and managing laboratory notebooks.
• Data management and maintenance to ensure compliance for audit preparation
