Company profile:
A voice and data communication organization providing secondary-market product, inventory management and supply chain services is seeking professional individuals for an inside sales role. This individual’s focus will be soliciting our products through extensive prospecting and relationship building within engineering and planning organizations of large Telcos. This product solicitation will include network, transport, switch and/or central office equipment.
Inside Sales Position
This individual must have exceptional communications skills and be excellent at prospecting via the phone. This individual will typically work on existing accounts and will make daily calls to help increase our product opportunities and transactional service sales. The individual will need input and direction from the Executive Account Director and Account Managers to penetrate the areas with the most return. Sales Mgmt will also assist in directing the Inside Salesperson to yield opportunities. An individual within this role must have at least 2-3 years in Sales Support, telemarketing or sales experience.
Compensation: $40Kbase+ 10% commission
Potential 1-2 yr compensation based on historical performance is $50-$70K
Location: Could be located in Atlanta or Tampa.
Qualifications: Extensive Prospecting/Cold Calling Experience
Prefer Individual with Strategic Selling Experience and/or Training
Basic sales experience in network, transport, switch or central office equipment
Our client will consider a sales candidate with no experience in our market, but significant telemarketing experience.
Job Description: Inside Sales Role
This position will be responsible for soliciting existing accounts that our client maintains a program with today. This program may include reverse logistics, spares management or fulfillment related services and programs. You will also be given accounts that we do not have a relationship and expect you to prospect and uncover right individuals.
Within this role, you will utilize the Senior Account Executive and Project Manager as a mentor and support for opportunities uncovered and information required to facilitate closing of deals. The inside sales role will be held accountable for creating their own deals and prospecting of contacts provided.
In addition, sales management will assist with direction, standard rebuttals, selling techniques, approaches, etc.
You should be able to establish creditability quickly using the existing program within your initial introductions. In addition, we will be interested in your help to maximize the results of redeployment; excess equipment shipped to clients our consignment agreement, etc. This should be an excellent entry point to your main selling purpose. It will be important that you train with the PM on the client’s current program portal, etc.
Key responsibilities:
The first and highest priority is expanding our new and pre-owned product business within the assigned account base.
A significant amount of prospecting via phone, building personal relationships and collecting manufacturer product family information based on the client’s installed base and individual’s responsibility.
Second, you will be soliciting our ability and experience to provide transactional services such as installs, deinstalls, stage/config and site surveys. Neither our client nor the client will expect you to know everything about the product or service offering, this is why we have internal SMEs. The inside sales associate role is to orchestrate the sales process and closing of the opportunity.

The individual must be an excellent telemarketer to establish contacts and potential business.
Face to face meetings may only come on an infrequent basis (depending on geographic location and business potential.). A majority of your solicitation efforts will be done over the phone. We will encourage personal visits for clients within driving distance initially.
