Customer Care/Technical Support Associate
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Technical Support Associate is responsible for handling technical support calls representing our clients’ customers and providing Level 1 technical assistance. The position requires a professional friendly demeanor with a strong desire to deliver the best possible customer service. They would also interact with customers via inbound calls for the purpose of providing assistance to customers that are setting up home networks and accessing the Internet.
Hours of Availability: Flexible work 2 to 4 hours shifts between the hours of 7am to 2am
Monday – Sunday-
Pay: $ 8.50 per hour plus $1.50 handle time =’s $10 per hour SPECIFIC JOB
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
Courteous with strong customer service orientation
Dependable, proficient and high attention to detail
Good listening skills and ability to respond to unscripted issues
Troubleshooting/problem-solving experience preferred
Willingness to rotate shifts, as needed
Ability to learn complex/continually changing materials in a group environment

Requirements
Flexible hours required We’re currently hiring for a Part time position with 20 to 29 hours per week that requires you to work from 8am to 12am EST Monday- Sunday, (hours will be a set schedule) with the flexibility to extend your shift up to 3am if necessary.
Training: Sutherland Global Services pays its employees for initial training and offers basic and extended training options for career-minded individuals.

· 32 Bit Windows XP or 32 Bit Windows Vista (Home Premium or Business)

· Analog Headset
· Broadband Internet (not WiFi)
In addition, you will need a high speed Internet connection that meets Sutherland's minimum bandwidth requirements and an analog noise-canceling multimedia Headset
