Psychologist and Sociologist

Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), a sister company to Bigelow Aerospace, is a newly formed research organization that focuses on novel and emerging future technologies worldwide as they specifically relate to spacecraft. BAASS is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We are seeking both a qualified Psychologist and a Sociologist to work as part of the scientific division of the BAASS team. Successful candidates will work in a team environment with both technical and non-technical personnel and may be required to travel for field based studies. Should have extremely good interpersonal skills and have demonstrated interview and analytical skills.  Both positions require a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work with little direct supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Candidates with Masters degrees in either Psychology or Sociology will also be considered. Work is performed in both office and field environments with overnight test support as required. Must be a U.S. citizen and have a valid driver’s license.

Desired Qualifications:

In addition to the minimum BS requirement, up to 2 years of experience in data analysis and technical writing, training and experience in statistics, and all applications contained in Microsoft Office Professional version.
