THE JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

The Design Engineer is responsible for Technical Validation:

  • Review and validate engineering model and drawing to ensure standard and conformance with applicable ANSI.
  • Check and markup detail parts and assembly drawings and model created in SolidWorks, NX, and AutoCAD through PDM system.
Requirements

THE DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

 

The ideal Design Engineer should have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical, Engineering or Business Field
  • 2-4 Years Experience in configuration and technical validation
  • Understanding and practice of GD & T and drawing format per ASME Y14.100M, ASME-Y14.100, ASME-Y14.24, ASME-Y14.35M, ASME-14.34M and ASME 14.5M
  • Ability to create CAD model and drawing
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical and systems engineering design, model and drawing drafting standards
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes using machining, casting, forging, composites and able to discuss standard flag notes
