Our client produces high quality food products. This position is Engineering Manager at one of their key production facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs department activities to maintain and upgrade facility. Ensures preventive maintenance program is clearly defined and administered.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree
5-10 years prior work experience in a heavy manufacturing/industrial environment in engineering or maintenance, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
3-6 years prior experience as a maintenance manager.
Prior supervisory experience leading a team of 10-50 associates.
Experience utilizing ERP/MRP/Inventory systems, SAP preferred.
Experience managing capital improvement projects from small to large scale.
Experience with MS Project
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent presentation skills
