Senior Staff Accountant

My Client, a leader in their industry, is currently seeking a senior staff accountant to join their growing finance team.  They are experiencing tremendous growth and expect to double in revenues over the next year.  With this growth will come great advancement potential from the senior accountant role.  This is a company that has a very fast paced culture where driven, hard working individuals will thrive.  The typical work week will probably be 45-50 hours.  Salary will range from 50,000-57,000. 

• Prepare the accruals and account reconciliations for month-end
• Assist with the preparation of the financial statements
• Ad-Hoc reporting to upper management
• Assist with evaluating the internal controls and make Recommendations of additional controls
• Assist with process improvement
• Other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Some public accounting experience would be a major plus
• 4 year degree in accounting or related field
• Masters in Accounting would be a plus
• CPA or working towards CPA required
• "Rock Star" personality a must, need to be very outgoing and have a strong presence
