Today, Sammons Preston Rehab Sales Reps cover the entire United States with one-on-one customized solutions, sales and service. To match our market demand, we are seeking a dynamic sales professional to join our outside rehabilitation sales team in the St. Louis & Southeast MO Territory. If you have excellent inter-personal skills, and a talent to build relationships, we would like to know about you.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Regularly calls on medical offices, hospitals, and rehab institutions within a defined sales territory to achieve budgeted sales volume and other established goals.  Maintains and further develops established accounts and develops new accounts to increase market penetration.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides trials and in-service of products to current and potential customers.
  • Consults with medical, nursing, physical and occupational therapists and rehab staff to secure product orders for Sammons Preston and increase product usage.
  • Sustains or generates new or repeat orders for all products and programs.
  • Develops a work plan by gathering and evaluating all relevant information about a territory.
  • Establishes a course of action based on priorities which will give you the greatest chance of success.
  • Supplies necessary information to operate the overall business effectively by completing all required reports accurately, completely and in a timely fashion.
  • Projects a professional, ethical image and character of the Company.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years successful sales experience (Healthcare a plus)
  • OT/PT/RN background a plus
  • 4 year college degree required
  • Knowledge of contact management software helpful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Must live in the territory
  • Some overnight travel required
  • Must be able to carry catalogues and samples – up to 50 pounds

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.  Professional presentation and positive attitude.
