OPPORTUNITY:

As our Regional Sales Manager, you will connect with prospects and guide them through the GovPayEXP sales process.  Our successful marketing efforts generate leads, so your efforts with be focused on converting & closing.  Use your solutions based sales skills and political savvy to effectively work within the government system.  Our experience and market strength in local governments provide unlimited opportunity to expand and bid on larger city and state contracts.

 

Sales Training will be held at our corporate office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Field training may be conducted at various locations throughout the country.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Identify potential customers for GovPayEXP solutions.
  • Follow up with leads generated through our extensive marketing efforts.
  • Develop relationships with potential customers, including local, city, and state agencies.
  • Guide prospects through the GovPayEXP sales process.
  • Train new customers on our internet based solutions.
  • Work with our internal experts to define, package, and brand existing and future payment processing solutions.

 

Requirements

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales success, including experience working with government agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven technical acumen and a passion for technology helpful.
  • Payments Industry experience is a plus.
  • Computer savvy with solid MS Office experience.  MS Project & Access a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system, web browser configuration, and web based applications.
  • Able and wiling to travel nationally.
  • Results oriented with the ability to quickly identify and complete action items.
  • Ability to adapt to change and solve problems quickly.    
  • Polished communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Overwhelming desire to succeed!

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

GovPayEXP will reward your talents with a base salary plus a lucrative commission structure.  First year total package expectation is $65-70k with second year performers earning $80-100k+!  You will also receive a generous benefits package including excellent medical coverage, dental, flexible medical spending account, life insurance, PTO, and 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
