Country Bank is an independent community bank with a 10 year tradition of servicing and supporting the community of Aledo and Mercer/Southern Rock Counties, Illinois. We are dedicated to providing superior customer service in a community bank setting. Country Bank has reached $200 million in assets and there has become an opportunity for a qualified Commercial Loan Officer to join our team.

We are seeking a seasoned lender with a desire to join us in our commercial services endeavors.

Commercial Loan Officer

Requirements for Commercial Loan Officer:

The successful candidate should have a college degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial lending, including the ability to analyze financial statements, structure commercial loans, properly document transactions and work in a team environment to provide superior customer service. SBA/USDA lending experience is a plus.
The ability to handle existing and generate new business relationships, including deposit accounts, is essential.
At least a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in finance, accounting, or business administration from a College/University or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 - 5 years experience in commercial lending and portfolio management.
Strong background in credit analysis and structuring of commercial loans.
SBA/USDA lending experience is a plus.
Deposit account skills for retention and new generation are essential.
Follows sound credit and lending practices. Maintains past dues and charge offs within or below the Bank's guidelines.
Strong customer service skills; demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers identifying and meeting their financial banking needs.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; demonstrate the ability to communicate to a variety of people.
General knowledge of Commercial lending policies, procedures, compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications, Web-Based Applications.
Willingness to become involve/participate in community activities.
