Description $72,000 annualized   +/- depending on experience

Location:  Redmond WA

Senior Financial Analyst, Compensation

Duties:
  • New fiscal year compensation planning and preparation;
  •  plan design overview,  review revmaps,
  •  xCAT setup (create new QVs, create new territories),
  •  quota setting, monitor quota acknowledgement by participants,
  •  BWB upload,  Send PPAs for new fiscal year.  Participant Data Management
  •  HR Data Scrub weekly (appendix 1)
  •  Maintain records for new, transfers in, transfers out, role changes and terminations
  •  Verify standard title, plan type, project, product, revmap, territory with HR and Business Managers
  •  Distribute Plan Participation Agreements (PPA)
  • Revenue Reconciliation;
  •  Compare revenue amount in the MS Sales Compensation Perspective to the revenue amount in xCAT (or MIC).
  • Quarterly quota and revenue adjustments if needed.
  • Maintaining territories;  removal or addition of new RSDs or RSCs,
  •  End the territory if it is not in use anymore.
  • Payout process every quarter;  Pre-payout reporting to GMs
  •  review payout frequency and schedules,  running calculations (appendix 2),
  •  creating payroll management files,  submit files for approval,  submit files to payroll,
  •  Send notification e-mails to payroll analysts to ensure processing of the payouts.
  • Reporting of quarterly attainment to GMs, answering attainment related questions coming from managers and individual contributors.

Requirements
  • Skills: 3-5 years work related experience required.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail; effective written and verbal communication.
  • Strong cross group collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with delivery deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft products required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills, with an emphasis on pivot tables.
  • May require work related experience and/or special knowledge in relevant area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required.
