Strayer University, a premier regionally accredited, proprietary educational
institution, is accepting applications for the following positions in the
New Brunswick/Piscataway area:
Academic Assistant
This position will provide administrative assistance to the Campus Dean.
Qualified candidates will possess at least 1 year of administrative experience,
excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service skills and the capability
to work in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and two years of college coursework is required.
A Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in education are preferred.
Full-Time and Adjunct Faculty
Full-time and adjunct/part-time Faculty are needed to teach courses in the
following areas: Accounting, Business, Computer Information Systems, Economics,
English, Humanities, Math, Sociology, and Psychology. For consideration, a terminal
degree in the related field with teaching experience is required.
LRC Manager
This position will ensure the proper functioning of the Learning Resources
Center (LRC).Duties include promoting information literacy, assisting students
in library/research activities, handling initial career services needs, maintaining
a career development area, administering placement tests, and managing LRC
staff. Qualified candidates for this entry-level position should have strong
communication and customer service skills, possess a thorough knowledge of
library services, and have strong computer technology problem-solving skills.
All candidates must have a Master’s degree in library or information
science/studies to be considered. Evening/weekend hours required.
