Description

VisionIT is looking for Level 1 Helpdesk Representatives to support one of our clients located in Pontiac, MI.  This position will be a Long-term, indefinite contract that offers the possibility of extension, and all candidates will be expected to work on-site in Pontiac, MI.

 

  • Candidates must be able to work on-site in Pontiac, MI
  • This will be a long-term, indefinite consulting assignment that offers the possibility of extension
  • Pay rates for this position will be determined by amount of relevant experience

 

Responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Responsible for supporting the client via telephone.
  • Understanding user's issues and taking the correct steps to accurately document and handle per set processes.
  • Utilize all tools available for assisting the customer
  • Hours of Operation for this Help Desk are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM  - 7:00 PM; candidates must be able to work an 8 hour shift between these times.

 

Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
  • Minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting computer hardware/software issues in a personal or professional environment
  • Associates degree or higher education in a computer related field a Plus.
  • Computer related certifications a Plus
  • Minimum of one year in a direct customer support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Call Center experience a Plus
