Description

Pinnacle Advisory Group, Inc. is an independent firm in Columbia, Maryland specializing in active portfolio management and wealth management.  The business is seeking a very motivated individual to become our operations and trading manager as we launch a brand new high volume money management business.

 

Range of compensation, depending on experience:   $40,000 to $50,000

 

Job Summary:

 

The operations and trading manager will be tasked with the following day to day duties:

 

  • All aspects of trading aggregated client portfolios to designated Pinnacle models.
  • All day to day operational functions including account paperwork, downloading & reconciling daily transactions, working with the custodial broker, billing, reporting, etc.
  • Perform internal wholesale function and liaise with client representatives that are generating new business.
  • Assisting the CEO/CIO in organizing and facilitating speaking engagements and book signings, as well as other marketing related functions as needed.
  • Work with Pinnacle technology manager, marketing group, operational staff and investment team as necessary to understand business and implement appropriate tools to jumpstart and maintain business.

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Heavy organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in word, excel and good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Previous Experience:

  • Financial industry experience preferred
  • Operational and/or Trading Experience preferred

Other Special Training/Skills:

  • Extreme motivation/multi-tasking skills
  • Management, and organization skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong Commitment to launching business
