Description
This position is located in LeCompte, Louisiana. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
Cargill, Inc., is an international provider of food, agricultural, and risk management products and services, is seeking an QA Coordinator for their office in LeCompte, LA.
This position provides HACCP coordination for the LeCompte plant and administrative support for managers and office requirements. In addition, this position acts as support for the BSA role in the plant.
HACCP Coordinator
· Responsible for quality initiatives, including collecting samples from bagged product in the plant, overseeing testing requirements and compliance, reviewing quality records for discrepancies and taking necessary corrective actions, and providing training on HACCP processes and procedures.
· Developing and maintaining spreadsheets and usage reports, and inventory control programs, performing inventory control processes and verifying procedures. Complying with data management and retention requirements.
· Entering data for efficiency measurements, reconciling daily production and quality reports
· Submitting and recording test samples and results
· Conducting investigations for out of tolerance areas and implementing corrective action procedures.
Administrative Support
· Provide customer service support for customer walk-ins, receive packages, direct truck drivers.
· Provide administrative support to Plant Manager and Business Development Manager – assist with data collection and special projects
· Provide logistics support – process TLO’s and receiving tickets and audit for accuracy
· Maintain and reconcile shrink logs on a monthly basis
· Act as location liaison with regional office administrative team regarding customer orders, invoices, etc.
· Maintain schedule for plant audits and other plant activities (safety, training, etc.) and act as gatekeeper to ensure status on required tasks are communicated to local leadership
· Other miscellaneous office duties; filing, office supplies, etc.
· Process and Submit local payroll
Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs on average of 2-3 times per day.
Basic computer experience in MS Office products – intermediate level with Excel
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a production environment
Basic math skills
Excellent organizational skills
Previous customer service or office administration experience
Prior quality control experience
