Description

Qualified candidate would direct all department activities to ensure consistent and appropriate action is taken to minimize losses related to residential and commercial real estate portfolio. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation of policies and procedures to support the management of the workout and asset management efforts in line with the objectives of the bank.
  • Monitor collection activities to ensure they conform to bank's policies and procedures.
  • Manage the modification request and review process on all portfolio and investor loans.
  • Ensure that bank's loss mitigation policies and procedures are in compliance with federal, state and local laws and investor and regulatory requirements. 
  • Oversee the liquidation of all REO properties to maximize the return received on property sold with minimum investment.
  • Manage and lead collection team by communicating goals, monitoring performance and providing individualized coaching.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years experience in real estate loss mitigation and/or operations
  • Effective business communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills – must be detail-oriented and thorough
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; Ability to effectively interact with individuals in all areas of the bank
  • Ability to continuously innovate; improve our processes and systems
  • Ability to develop and present information in varied mediums
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Effective management/supervisory skills
  • Computer literate—experience using word processing, spreadsheet, data management, and desktop publishing software
  • Thorough knowledge of all regulatory and investor entities and requirements as they relate to banking activities
