Team Lead - Corporate Accounting

Our client is seeking a motivated and analytical Team Leader to supervise senior and staff accountants in the monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and various projects. 

• Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and a Bachelors degree in accounting
• An MBA, CPA or equivalent work experience in the field of accounting is desirable.
• Excellent communication, judgment and teamwork skills are necessary.  
• The selected individual must possess the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously along with a high degree of initiative and ownership.
• A strong knowledge of accounting theory including SEC accounting is preferred.  
• Individual will need to be proficient in the use of MS Office applications, especially Excel.  
• Individual must have the analytical thought process and ability to develop QMF queries that encompass a variety of issues and have a strong interest and desire in learning and applying computer applications.
• Supervisory experience is also preferred
