The Release Engineer is a key position within Ovi Store and key to understanding and tracking application and configuration changes to Ovi Store and Shared Service components interacting with Ovi Store. This position will coordinate and commnicate system level changes impacting Ovi Store - direct Ovi Store app/cfg changes and changes to shared services impacting the Store. In addition, this position is integral to the Release Mgmt and Test Teams supporting Releases and Changes through the Ovi Store environments.
The Release Engineer a Technical specialist providing standard business infrastructure solutions, services and support, according to defined processes. Specialist in user care, application development and configuration, IT platforms management and development, installation and maintenance, computing and network operations, or system analysis and design
Requirements
The Release Engineer is a outstanding communicator and IT Specialist knowledgeable about Ovi Store system architecture and interoperability with Shared Services. The CA is also knowledgeable about Shared Services schedules and impact to Ovi Store as changes are made in those systems. The CA is responsible for communication, coordination, and conflict resolution.
