Position:   Director of Contract Services, Imaging

Location:  Novation – Irving, TX

Summary

This position will report to the Senior Director, Contract Services.  Manage and execute Diagnostic Imaging contracts and programs to meet the unique needs of key segments of memberships.   Individual will strategize with the Senior Director and Contract Management team members regarding diagnostic imaging portfolio opportunities and marketing strategies. Also, this individual will coordinate Imaging portfolio activities with other programs and services offered by local offices, and will maintain communication with local offices regarding assigned group of members.

Responsibilities:

·  Provides operational oversight to  competitive bid process for the general imaging agreement portfolios

·  Manage existing assigned business and marketing plans for portfolio or specific assigned contracts

·  Effectively manage supplier relationships to optimize outcomes.

·  Sell and promote the use of supply chain or Group Buy Program to healthcare or education customers/members.  Market programs and contracts to new and current members.

·  Recruit new suppliers/customers and sells additional services to existing accounts

·  Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal team members

·  Determines customers needs and recommend solutions from company portfolio

·  Develops strategies/approaches to address market conditions

·  Mentors/trains new and existing staff on goals and sets a tone for success and high moral

·  Works collaborative with VHA,UHC and Provista teams

·  Develops extensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging

•  Minimum 7+ years experience in Diagnostic Imaging purchasing.

•  Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging, equipment and buy cycles

•  Intermediate MS office skills

•  Experienced Presenter to various levels of audience

•  Strong financial knowledge

•  Demonstrated leadership Skills

•  Ability to articulate complicated financial and clinical knowledge to sales teams and members

•  Strong project management skills

•  Attention to detail

•  Ability to work in a matrix environment and multi task many project at once

•  Ability to delegate effectively

•  Ability to align and communicate effectively both orally and electronically

•  Strong organizational dynamic skill, politically savvy
