The Client Profitability Team’s primary objective is to work with all North America retail offices to develop/maintain a portfolio of financial pricing models from activity based costing for use by Willis’s sales force as a negotiating pricing tool on new and renewal business.  The CP team is responsible for the education, training and tracking results of this process along with refinement and application of the models through “Best Practices" to achieve the overall revenue and profitability growth objectives of Willis through enhanced EBIT margins.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain a catalog of revenue and cost assumptions to support continued product development of the model.
  • Work directly with our retail teams to ensure our products meet and/or exceed the objectives in the marketplace and for the company.
  • Responsible for building and validating the final retail CP models, CP pricing tool (calculator) and CP strategic planning (tracking) tools.
  • Responsible for presentation and implementation of the retail client profitability models.
  • Collaborate within the Client Profitability Team to develop processes, guidelines and supporting systems to ensure consistent pricing model methodology.
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes which gather and consolidate the data to enable analytic support on how Client Profitability Models results are delivered to retail groups and insure these products meet their value expectations.
  • As necessary, be responsible for training retail Business Units on how to use the model outputs, calculators and tracker sheets.
  • Provide internal team support and assist the Director with ad hoc projects as needed.

 

Skills required:

 

  • 5+ years of progressive analytic and/or accounting experience within Willis or industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable working with sales professionals, senior managers, regional and local leadership etc.
  • Creative and Strategic thinker; with a keen desire to make a difference.
  • Strong level of problem- solving skills, ability to prioritize and demonstrate flexibility
  • Requires the ability to multi-task between projects.
  • Must be a team player and self starter.
  • Extremely high level of proficiency with various software applications programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable skills in Willis Systems (LINK, IBS, Sagitta, Peoplesoft)

 

Travel Required:

 

Travel will be required across North America – (1 to 2 weeks per month)
