Description
FPL FiberNet LLC delivers wholesale and enterprise services throughout most major metropolitan areas in Florida, with its extensive long-haul and metro fiber-optic networks. We provide carrier grade Ethernet, Internet and TDM services throughout our footprint.
- Lead all sales activities in the greater Atlanta territory for both carrier and enterprise customers.
- Executes the complete sales cycle, from generating sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, negotiating and closing.
- Assess key decision-makers' needs and develops a plan of action to meet customer needs.
- Manage on-going account relationships. Maintain account presence by providing value added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel.
- Understands customer's business, technology and product requirements.
- Engage appropriate internal resources to support sales pursuits.
- Support and participate in team sales initiatives where applicable by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts and territories.
- Assess market opportunities and develop business plans to meet revenue objectives.
- Conduct territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers.
- Perform revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow assigned business profitability.
- Provide information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.
- Participate in trade shows, as assigned, to promote company products and to develop leads.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required and five (5) years related sales experience required
- Must have strong telecom related work experience
- Existing relationship base in the greater Atlanta area
- Superior professional presence and business acumen
- Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication
- Competent in using computer applications
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas in telecom sales
