Description
· This position will be troubleshooting and repairing HP printers, desktop computers and laptop computers (replacing LCD’s, system boards, keyboards, etc.). This account uses IBM/Lenovo hardware and it would be helpful if candidates have IBM/Lenovo Certifications, but this is not a requirement.
· This position will also be supporting Windows XP, Office 2003, and Symantec.
· This position will be troubleshooting standard network problems (TCP/ICP)
· Candidates must be able to handle a fast paced environment, have the ability to work with little supervision, and have the ability to solve problems on their own.
· Candidates must be able to work in a diverse environment. There will be varying types of personalities to deal with from very laid back to very demanding. Candidates must be able to remain professional at all times.
· Candidate must be willing to travel, mostly east coast, mileage will be reimbursed and overnight stays occasionally as needed. Travel can be up to 60% of the time but will have notice. Travel will be to Va, Md, Nj, Nc, Sc, Pa, possibly Tx. But will have notice.
Requirements
· Must have 1+ years of recent desktop support experience in a corporate environment.
· Must have an A+ certification
· Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing issues with Windows XP, 2003, and Symantec
· Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing standard network issues (TCP/ICP)
· Must have strong printer experience (HP preferred)
· Must have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing LCD’s, system boards, keyboards, etc. (IBM/Lenovo is a plus).
· Must be a US Citizen
· Candidate must be willing to travel, mostly east coast, mileage will be reimbursed and overnight stays occasionally as needed. Travel can be up to 60% of the time but will have notice. Travel will be to Va, Md, Nj, Nc, Sc, Pa, possibly Tx. But will have notice.
· Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Investigation
