Description

A Progressive Property Management Company is Seeking a Strong Apartment Property Manager -

Will be responsible for the overall operations of a medium size community to achieve maximum predetermined financial results while implementing leasing, marketing, accounting, maintenance, safety, resident relations, fixed assets control, and management reporting policies. The Property Manager hires, trains supervises and motivates on-site personnel to implement the company policies and property goals. Develops and works within operating budgets, ensures lease enforcement and maintains occupancy standards. Ensures the consistent collection of rents and maintenance related objectives are properly coordinated.

 

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Maximize income, control expenditures and maintain financial objectives to meet pre-determined budgetary goals.
  • Responsible for overall daily operations of the property, including, but not limited to marketing, unit and exterior property inspections and capital improvements.
  • Recruit, supervise, train, motivate, develop and evaluate associates. Lead team by example following all written policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of forms, reports and financial data for all aspects of the property.
  • Other assigned duties and projects.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must Have:

  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate associates to perform to the best of their abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to delegate projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with different personality types.
  • 3-5 years of Multi-Family management experience in a supervisory capacity with proven track record of achievements.
  • Ability to work long hours and walk apartments for inspections as well as rent collections.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as well as the ability to travel locally and overnight
  • Previous budgeting experience.
  • Yardi experience a plus!
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
