GOVERNMENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER AT BLUESTAR

We are seeking candidates for a Director of Federal and Public Sector Government Sales and Business Development. The candidate must be an experienced business development leader with significant DoD/Federal business development and capture experience who will contribute to our continuing growth. BlueStar is a leading Solutions Based Distributor of Point of Sale and AIDC (Auto Identification Equipment) hardware and software solutions in the Americas and Europe. Government Business Development Manager - BlueStar
General Requirements
1. The successful candidate will have 10 plus years of experience in Federal Government business development and sales and exemplary skills, along with expert knowledge of the grand and bid processes as well as GSA Schedules.
2. Demonstrated strategic leadership and the ability to direct and grow incremental new business are essential.
3. A track record of building brand new business relationships within the public sector.
4. All applicants must have a minimum of five years of management experience in the ADC, Mobility, and/or RFID technologies within the public and/or private sectors.
5. A Bachelors Degree is required
6. Must have extensive experience in management functions: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of financial and material resources which include a solid understanding of accounting principles for budgets, bottom line accountability, MDF and co-op marketing funds.
7. Writing skills must be sharp and defined.
8. Understand distribution models and B2B concepts of reseller channels with in the public sector.
Education: Candidates must have a minimum four-year college degree.
