Description

Position Responsibilities Summary: 

The Interactive Marketing Specialist is responsible for advising, executing, managing, analyzing, and reporting against interactive marketing campaigns for SEO, Social Media, Paid Search, and Email Marketing.  In addition, the IMS will help to create, edit, and optimize interactive marketing assets through actionable web analytics insights, continuous A/B, multivariate testing, and conversion diagnosis to generate maximum results.

 

Principal Responsibilities:  The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:

SEO/Social Media:
 The IMS will work with the web visibility leader to implement and manage search engine optimization and social media plans against the defined strategy.  This will include keyword analysis/optimization, competitive analysis, title tags, metadata, cross-linking, content generation/optimization, URL rewrites, and site architecture that increases site traffic, and leads.  The IMS will manage, contribute, track, and update social sites: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, You tube etc., as well as utilize social media as a voice to market key themes/messages that align with marketing campaign goals by increasing brand awareness, site traffic and leads

Paid Search:
The IMS will work with the marketing team to develop, manage and optimize the performance of the paid search marketing accounts for Google, Yahoo, Facebook, and Microsoft.  The IMS will proactively identify, promote and test additional third party advertising platforms.  Other activities include analysis of account performance against goals (lead volume and cost); determine appropriate PPC ad copy, keyword match types and landing pages to test for CTR and conversion rate improvements.

 

Conversion Optimization:
The Interactive Marketing Specialist will leverage their knowledge of web analytics, usability/user experience, information architecture, conversion diagnosis, A/B, and multivariate testing to develop strategic and actionable recommendations that optimize the performance of our interactive marketing assets.  The IMS will implement their recommendations by helping to design, edit and modify landing pages, websites, emails, and banners through their basic knowledge of Photoshop, HTML/CSS, and CMS’s.

 

Requirements

 

 

Requirements:  Required skills/attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field
  • At least one year of Paid Search, SEO, and Social Media; two preferred
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B and Multivariate testing applications.
  • Knowledge of web usability, user experience, information architecture, and conversion optimization preferred.

·        Basic HTML/CSS,  Photoshop, Dreamweaver and CMS experience preferred

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication and presentation to stakeholders, including management, marketing, creative, production, external clients and outside vendors.

  • Proven track record of developing actionable recommendations from quantitative analysis that meets or exceeds performance goals
  • Proficient with SEO, Social Media, and PPC management, reporting, and analytical tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, project management skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
  • Ability to create buy-in from multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-functional environment
