Description Satellite Technician

Helmerich & Payne, Inc., a financially strong NYSE-listed contract drilling company, has an immediate opening for a Satellite Technician. This position is based in our Tulsa, Oklahoma headquarters.

The Satellite Technician is responsible for installing, supporting, and enhancing remote satellite WAN/LAN implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in related field preferred

• Minimum of 2 years networking experience required

• Thorough knowledge of networking, including Local and Wide area networks, networking technology, network security, Microsoft Server software, and Microsoft Windows operating system
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to work as a team member. Must be able to communicate effectively with users to solve satellite network issues over the telephone.
• Good troubleshooting skills

• Ability to travel and work overtime
