Description
Met-Pro Corporation, a growing NYSE manufacturing company in Montgomery County, is seeking an Application Developer who is a self-starter, problem solver with strong communication skills for its corporate headquarters. This position will provide implementation support for a new international deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a technical resource on the implementation team for finance and manufacturing applications.
· Comply with all departmental procedures for supporting, monitoring, documenting and troubleshooting technical issues.
· Create and maintain technical documentation required during the different phases of the project.
· Develop solutions using X++/MorphX Development Suite as assigned.
· Support and maintain databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
· Create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services.
· Work with other IT team members to interface data to and from other business applications.
· Perform data mapping to facilitate data conversion.
· Support new and existing Web-based applications using Microsoft Frontpage or Expressions.
Requirements
· Minimum two years experience with object oriented design and development; preferably with X++ or C#.
· Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills. Must have a strong customer service focus.
· Previous experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is required.
· Experience in development with Microsoft Dynamics AX/X++ and the MorphX Development Suite.
· Possess basic understanding of manufacturing concepts including bill of materials, costing, and inventory control.
· Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Exposure to release 2009 is preferred.
· Minimum two years development experience with Microsoft Frontpage/Expressions.
· Must possess strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to explain technical information in non-technical terms.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required.
· Minimum travel is required.
