The Client Director’s primary role is to successfully manage and grow a strategic relationship with firms within our target market that ultimately results in the sale and the successful delivery of ioko business, technology and managed services.  This individual is expected to establish and manage the account from both a strategic and tactical level, which includes:

 

Responsibilities

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the customers business and technical strategies necessary to  create an overall account strategy  that results in ioko  selling and delivering it’s technology services to help the customer successfully meet their goals and objectives,
  • Developing the overall sales and delivery plan for a new or existing customer and then managing and growing that plan over time, typically 1 to 2 years
  • Developing and executing the tactical components of the account which includes account planning, setting of targets, financial forecasting and reporting, activity tracking, discovering and managing RFI/RFP process, leading the proposal and solution development process, and providing leadership during the delivery process to ensure escalations, communications and issue resolution happen as smoothly as possible,
  • Finding, building and maintaining senior level executive relationships within our target accounts and key technology partners to ensure we have the proper support, coordination, visibility and growth opportunities within our target accounts and projects,
  • Partnering with ioko senior leadership and ioko staff to achieve project/customer objectives which include leading a cross functional ioko team (supported primarily by an ioko Senior Technical Architect and Senior Project Manager),  
  • Developing relationships and “open lines of communication" within ioko and customer’s strategic partners to drive joint business opportunities and successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Proven track record of selling and managing the delivery of complex technology services/platforms in the $2M+ range
  • Experience as a “billable" role is critical; this is not purely a sales role so experience
  • History of establishing, expanding and closing complex, multi-million dollar service engagements
  • Minimum of 15+ years in technology with at least 10 doing services related account management, sales and/or business development, with at least 5 years of experience selling services to media and entertainment firms
  • A technical background in software development with experience of project management
  • Relevant domain expertise and customer experiences within the technology areas of media and entertainment
  • Proven track record of creating, developing and working with partners to indentify, win and execute business objectives
  • The ideal candidate will have established relationships within the industry with senior level executives
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas, MBO’s and other financial account related targets
  • Understanding of solution selling and proven ability to bring together technical, customer and partner resources
  • Ability to lead a team of resources through complex sales and delivery cycles
  • Exceptional verbal, written, communication, organization, time management, prioritization skills
  • Ability to make compelling presentations to an audience of diverse business and technology stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed…50% of time or more
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Project etc

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business or technology related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • MBA or technical degree (optional)
