Patient Client Services Informatics Coordinator

FHN is seeking a full-time  Patient Client Services Informatics Coordinator to join our staff at FHN in Freeport, Illinois.

• Day shift 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Associates degree is required 
• Licensure is required

JOB SUMMARY:
Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary end users of Patient Client Services Module as well as the I.S. staff that supports the clinical informatics systems.  Has working knowledge of all software applications used by Nursing and is responsible for the ongoing coordination use of said products.  Maintains own clinical nursing competence and knowledge of nursing processes and work flow by working designated nursing supervision/staff clinical time.

RN licensed to practice in the state of IL with Associate Degree in Nursing required and Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare degree preferred.  Five to eight years prior field experience and other job-related experience required with specialized courses, certifications, training, or attainment of certification in nursing informatics.  Recent experience with planning, building, and implementing and EMR, preferferably Meditech Client Server.
