RECRUITER Summary:
The recruiter is responsible for recruiting and screening potential candidates for various departments of United Auto Delivery and Recovery, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with design and implementation of recruitment strategies to meet current/future needs - ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness.
Understand hiring needs and assist in writing/updating job descriptions when needed Create job postings that are compliant with corporate job standards and select appropriate places to advertise
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Develop and maintain professional networks (with colleges/universities, professional associations, third-party recruitment agencies, outplacement services, attend job/career fairs, etc.) as a source to generate qualified applicants
Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with the job requirements by evaluating and prescreening the candidate
Use/develop appropriate assessment techniques to screen candidate
Interview candidates in conjunction with the hiring manager
Assist in the selection process
Keep all parties (candidate, hiring manager and HR director) updated at all times
Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks, background checks, driving records and drug screens
Keep records and prepare statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, and hires
Give outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers Ensure that the employment process is compliant with company, state and federal regulations
Performs other special projects, as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Knowledge and expertise in recruiting a variety of roles and disciplines, exempt and non-exempt positions
Knowledge of state/federal labor laws and experience with maintaining affirmative action programs
Proficient in MS Office
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrate excellent telephone interviewing skills with strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to build relationships with managers and candidates
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects, and prioritize workload
Ability to solve problems independently and deliver results
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Capable of regularly exercising good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
