Executive Assistant Summary:
Computer Technologies Associates, Inc (CTA) is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Ideal candidate will provide high level administrative support to the Director of the Defense Center of Excellence (DCoE) under the Training and Education directorate. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, positive individual who is self-motivated and has a desire to work as a team player in a fast-paced government environment.
Responsibilities of Executive Assistant:
Provide administrative support to Director, DCoE as well as other senior leadership
Performing day to day office administration including, answering phones, coordinating and scheduling internal/external meetings, drafting and editing correspondences, PowerPoint presentations, and marketing collaterals.
Assisting with interpreting, coordinating and implementing division specific policies and procedures.
Participating in proposal activities.
Evaluating and managing competing priorities with little supervision.
Arranging travel and preparing expense reports.
Coordinate activities and schedules of staff selection committee, including summarizing of member evaluation matrices of candidates / nominees
Collate and organize candidate application packages and obtain missing materials from candidates or those providing references
Facilitate information flow between key program members and field professionals
Provide informational materials and record minutes in senior staff meetings
Assist senior leadership with preparing briefing packages and other materials, maintaining calendars and schedules, and organization of information
Planning and coordinating events and conferences
Research organizations to determine range of activities, scope of mission, persons in positions of leadership, and contact information
Develop and Maintain a database of key government and professional contacts for the Director

Requirements
Executive Assistant
Requirements for Executive Assistant:
Bachelor's degree from accredited University required, Master's degree preferred.
Minimum five years experience as an executive assistant at the senior Director/Executive level.
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Dependability and flexibility.
Experience in either working for governmental agency or in military/defense office
