Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:  Represent market and sell Cubic communications systems, products and technologies to intelligence, C4ISR and UAV customers. Seek systems integration contracts; develop multi-year relationships with key clients. Duties to include: identify and qualify “new" business opportunities. Develop and execute opportunity specific capture plans and strategies. Develop and implement business area expansion plans and strategies. Develop strategic business relationships. Develop accurate and realistic business (bookings) forecast. Develop and maintains positive customer relations. Develop and maintain accurate discretionary resources requirements. Critical competencies/knowledge and domain expertise: full understanding of RF communication technologies, network architecture, major customer initiatives (WIN-T, JTRS, etc), prior systems engineering experience, business development experience. TS/SCI plus Intel communications background.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Four year college degree or equivalent in engineering, management or marketing plus twelve years experience in marketing of electronic systems and/or products to U.S. and foreign government customers or equivalent military experience. Must have extensive knowledge of and experience in the procurement process for complex military systems. Military experience highly desirable. Requires the ability to effectively deal with technical and management representatives of U.S. and foreign government and industrial customers. Must have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills and show willingness to be a team player.  US Citizenship required.
